Transportation provided. Participants should bring their own sketchbook and materials.

Instead let Art Center’s President Dr. Lorne Buchman along with Kit Hinrichs, Art Center Alum and Trustee, and other renowned and distinguished Alumni, Faculty and Students blow your minds instead. The gathering is at the Judy Slasky Memorial Rooftop Garden atop architect Kevin Daly’s stunningly redeveloped 100,000 square-foot building in downtown Pasadena. Enjoy the sunset. Watch the moonrise. Relax with a fine cocktail and light refreshments. When not nibbling, or schmoozing, view the award-winning Art Center Illustrations on display.

Picture Mechanics Exhibition
Join Picture Mechanics, a collective of well known illustrators who formed after meeting at the first ICON conference in Santa Fe in 1999 : Artists featured include founding member, Gary Taxali as well as Edel Rodriguez, Marc Burckhardt, Ann Field, Jody Hewgill, Yuko Shimizu, Sam Weber, Cathie Bleck, and Joel Nakamura among others.
